Bears Care, in cooperation with the Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity, announces the Fourteenth Annual “Super Bowl Sweeps” to be held on January 15, 2009. The holder of the winning ticket in “Super Bowl Sweeps” wins the following prize package:

* Four tickets to Super Bowl XLIII to be played on February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

* United Airlines will provide travel from Chicago O’Hare International Airport to Tampa International Airport in Tampa, FL. Travel dates will be January 29, 2009 and February 2, 2009.

* Hotel accommodations of two rooms for four nights at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort located in Clearwater, Florida.

Proceeds of the Fourteenth Annual Super Bowl Sweeps benefit Bears Care, which supports such organizations as Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity and others. Just got back from the Kentucky State Shoot and it is time to start the Infinity raffle for next year. We had to cancel the raffle this year due to lack of sales. To all those still holding tickets we will send out new tickets for next year by August. The new raffle has a new twist. We are going to sell the tickets through the SCTP Teams. Any SCTP team that wants tickets tell your coaches to contact me and we will send tickets out. Next year the draweing will be held at the Kentucky State Shoot on July 4th, 2009. The SCTP Team that sells the winning ticket drawn for the gun will receive $ 2,000.00. The SCTP Team that sells the most tickets will receive $ 2,000.00. On the singles event for Saturday's State singles championship the top (3) male and female junior and sub-junior shoteers will receive $1,000.00 ea. in cash. This is a total of 12 youths sharing a prize package of $12,000.00. So I hope that we can make this a very successful event. This year’s Auction Raffle was announced at the Project Fair Thurday Night. The grand prize is a trip for two to Hawaii including airfare and hotel.

Each family is being given a packet with 20 tickets to sell (families are required to sell or buy at least 10). Thanks to all of you who picked up your tickets at the Project Fair. The rest of the tickets were sent home Friday or are being mailed to you. Please return your sold tickets and money to the office. Unsold tickets must also be returned to the office.
